I had the pleasure of working with Sarah on the South West Wales Regional Contractors Framework bid. Collaborative Value and Relationship Management (ISO 44001)

Design Strategy
Project objectives need to be clearly defined, justified, and effectively communicated to those leading the project across all disciplines. We ensure that the project is established correctly from the outset which avoids unnecessary distraction in the later stages of the project.
Design Execution/Management Plan
The Design Execution Plan is a crucial tool documenting the background, method, execution and procedure for undertaking and delivering the design. We work closely with the whole project team to develop the plan so that it appropriately defines the project objectives aligned to the project brief. The plan establishes roles, responsibilities, procedures, and project controls which are considerate and coordinated with the project’s commercial and operational deliverables.
Design Administration
It is essential that all designers and those that utilise their services understand their responsibilities, interfaces and programme for delivering information. Correct project administration ensures clarity, preventing gaps, duplication and scope creep. We collaborate with designers to produce comprehensive appointment documentation, allowing them to focus on design.
Design Programming
Working alongside the project team, we develop programmes that are considerate of the full design and procurement process and provide a clear and precise representation of the design programme and inputs required.
Reporting and Progress Monitoring
We compose and coordinate regular reports so that the designer, design team and client has a clear understanding of the project's objectives and deliverables. The monitoring of progress allows the team to make considered decisions based upon accurate reporting data.

Other Stuff We Have Done!
Design software for education projects
We developed a piece of software, standardised school designs and a component library for a Tier 2 contractor.
The software took the customer through the engagement process and the responses automated a school design. The design was made from a standardised kit of parts which were all fully detailed and costed, meaning we could develop a robust design and cost plan instantly.
We even got shortlisted for a Construction News Award!
Processes perfected
We supported a modular contractor who was going through a growth period and expanding into self-delivered projects.
Our support focused on developing their processes through the bid, design and manufacture stages to ensure they were eliminating risk and developing robust proposals. We then reviewed the factory process and applied lean principles to improve efficiency.
Our service then grew to support with the on-site delivery of the largest (at the time!) modular school on behalf of a main contractor.
Data updated
We supported a Tier 1 contractor to review their data bank used for work winning, to highlight their USPs and ensure all content was relevant to current legislation.
We wanted some external insight to help us improve the information we used in bids. Sarah and Matt helped us develop the scope of the work within our budget and, using their technical knowledge and industry expertise, brought a fresh perspective to our offer.
